Who is IMGate for?
IMGate focuses on IMG doctors seeking NHS trust-grade and clinical-fellow roles, particularly those struggling to show how their overseas experience meets a vacancy’s requirements. Ask before purchasing for national specialty recruitment or posts outside this scope.
Is IMGate affiliated with the NHS?
No. IMGate is independent and is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by the NHS or NHS employers.
Does IMGate guarantee an NHS job?
No. Recruitment outcomes are decided independently by hiring organisations. We provide preparation and feedback, not preferential recruitment access.
What is the difference between Application Review and First Edit?
Both services assess the complete unsubmitted TRAC application PDF, including the supporting statement and all other completed fields, against one vacancy’s job description and person specification. The £65 Review returns a tailored PDF with ranked feedback on the application. The £139 First Edit provides a field-by-field Word edit pack for written responses, a criteria map showing where each job requirement is addressed, an evidence summary of relevant examples and one consolidated revision. You transfer accepted changes into TRAC and check the final application yourself.
Can my review payment count towards an edit?
Yes. If you order a £139 First Edit for the same application and vacancy within 14 calendar days of receiving your Application Review, we deduct the £65 review fee, so you pay £74. The £65 is used once and cannot also be used for another order. This does not remove any legal consumer rights you have, including any right to cancel or receive a remedy where the law provides one.
What do the criteria map and evidence summary look like?
They are included in your Word edit pack. The criteria map is a short table matching each job requirement to the application field where it appears, the evidence provided and anything that needs clarification. The evidence summary is a short list of relevant examples from your application that you may want to adapt for future applications.
Fictional example: For “participated in an audit,” the map might say: “TRAC answer 5: participation is mentioned, but your contribution and outcome are unclear. Add what you did and the verified result, if relevant.” The evidence summary might list: “Audit — your role; actions; finding; change or learning.” Details must come from your documents; placeholders are for you to complete.
Do I need an interview invitation?
No invitation is required for the group masterclass or private coaching. The NHS Mock Interview is specifically for doctors with a confirmed interview invitation.
When will I receive written feedback?
Application Review and First Edit have a five-working-day turnaround after payment and receipt of complete documents. Mock Interview written feedback is due within one working day after the session.
Can you write an application for me from scratch?
No. You provide a complete, unsubmitted TRAC application PDF with genuine experience. We review the whole application and can edit its written responses, but do not invent experience, qualifications or achievements. You make and verify any changes in TRAC and submit it yourself.
Are payments and bookings open?
Not yet. This preview is for design review, and checkout and scheduling must be configured and tested before orders are accepted.
Who checks my assessment, and do you use AI?
Our founder, a practising NHS registrar and IMG who secured multiple NHS roles, checks each application assessment against the original documents and approves it before delivery. No client-document AI processing is currently configured. If that changes, we will update the Privacy Notice before it starts.
What is a consolidated revision?
Send all requested changes together in one email or commented document within seven calendar days of receiving your edit. We return the revision within three working days. It covers reasonable wording, emphasis and structure changes within the same application, vacancy and supplied evidence. A new vacancy, replacement draft or substantial new evidence is outside that revision. We agree any extra work before charging. Corrections to our own errors do not use the revision or limit your statutory rights.
Can you edit my application for a different vacancy?
Returning First Edit customers can request a £49 New Vacancy Application Edit for a complete, unsubmitted TRAC application PDF for one new vacancy at a similar role level, using substantially the same evidence. It includes a field-by-field Word edit pack for written responses, a fresh criteria map and one consolidated revision. We confirm eligibility and the deadline before taking payment. Save your evidence summary; our three-month deletion policy applies and we may need you to supply earlier documents again.
What are the interview prices?
Group masterclass: £79 per person, with £59 for the first scheduled cohort when bookings open. Private NHS Interview Coaching: £199 for 90 minutes at launch. NHS Mock Interview: £129 for 60 minutes. All are live online; no dates or places are reserved through this preview.
